Adding Spinach to smoothies is a MUST! Spinach is an extremely nutrient-rich low calorie leafy green. It packs high amounts of carotenoids, vitamin C, vitamin K, folic acid, iron, potassium and calcium. Also, you really can’t taste it in a smoothie.
Bellow is my favorite smoothie recipe because it tastes like a chocolate peanut butter milkshake!! So next time you are craving something sweet and chocolatey delicious try this out, I guarantee you will love it!
Ingredients:
Spinach, a lot of it, I like to fill the blender half way with spinach or use half of the bag
1-2 tablespoons of Almond Butter or Peanut Butter (I like almond but up to you!)
1-1.5 FROZEN Banana (it’s important that they are frozen)
1 teaspoon Agave or pure maple syrup (optional)
¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional)
1 teaspoon Cocoa Powder (optional but highly recommend)
1-1.5 cups of Coconut Water (Or nut milk of your choice - I recommend one with NO added sugar - trust me you wont need it thistreat will be sweet enough)
& blend to get this beautiful green treat!
